Julia Ladewski received an Exercise Science degree from Ball State University. While there, Julia was involved with Division I athletics as a Strength Coach, working with various sports, including volleyball, baseball, track & field, gymnastics, swimming and basketball. Upon leaving Ball State, she interned with the world renowned Athletes’ Performance Institute in Tempe, AZ under the tutelage of Mark Verstegen. Here is where Julia’s dealing with high level athletes began, working with youth, college and professional athletes.

After completing the internship, Julia was hired on at the University at Buffalo as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. She continues to train several teams, including women’s soccer, men’s & women’s basketball, and track & field. She also assists with the other 12 teams.

Julia also has extensive “under-the-bar” experience. She is a competitive drug-free powerlifter and holds several national and world records. Julia has totaled “elite” in two weight classes (132 and 148). Her best competition lifts are 463 squat, 240 bench, 424 deadlift and 1102 total in the 132 class.
